Since this is my first try at writing in a blog I will not start with anything serious. However, being an ardent fan on cricket in general and of India in particular, I would surely put forward few comments on the ouster of our team from T20 World Cup.
Needless to say I was shocked and disheartened at the loss to England and West Indies. I was at one point of time cursing both the countries for throwing India out of the tournament. But soon I realized how bad and disarrayed we were as a team. We did not have the opening batsman in Sehwag and wasted Rohit Sharma in asking him to open the innings. Nothing clicked for the team. Also the controversy surrounding Sehwag's injury did not help much. The blame game have already started and m not too sure where will this lead us to ahead of the Champions Trophy to be held in South Africa in September, 2009. However, knowing Dhoni and his capabilities this I am sure enough that this Team India will bounce back.
I really hope there are few genuine Indian fans who will support this team to the hilt. Yes, I am disappointed but the "Never Say Die Attitude" that the team very recently acquired will play a big role in the act of bouncing back of this fabulous team.
Well thats it for the time being and I will start my blog in real earnest from the next article.
